Camping Barn Facilities

Inexpensive overnight accommodation.
Fees are £15 per person per night. 
Ideal for walkers. canoeists, mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts wishing to explore the Southern Cumbrian Fells or South Lakes.
Whatever the weather, our village hall provides basic overnight accommodation for groups of 6 to 16 people.
It is common for groups to arrange exclusive overnight use dependent upon other event bookings.

Sleeping
The only sleeping provision is floorspace, bring your own camp beds or sleeping pads.
Space and Parking
The dimensions of the main hall are 8m x 5.4m, the stage area is additional and measures 3.6m x 5.4m
There is parking space for 4-6 cars with additional parking nearby.
Cooking
The new kitchen ( May 2019) provides for cooking and washing up by hand. There is  an electric oven  and hob, a microwave oven,  a toaster, a kettle, a fridge, a freezer, a hot water urn, pans, crockery and cutlery. Some regulars like to bring their slow cooker.
Personal Hygiene and Washing
We upgraded the washrooms in the first half of 2021. There is  an accessible toilet and shower room.  A unisex toilet and shower room. An additional single toilet cubicle with a wash basin. Totalling 3 toilets and 2 showers.
Clothing
The hall entrance area provides space where walking boots and other outdoor kit or cycles may be stored. There is a coat hanging area which can be heated for drying wet gear.
